Yesterday was our first real chill of Fall here in Dallas… I am loving every minute of these cooler temps! You know how there are certain moments and times, on just regular days, that you get to see small reoccurrences of decisions you have made?!? Yesterday was just like that for me. For part of my work day I actually got to go outside with my babe, Chamberlain and enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery that God had created! It was wonderful!!!
I can remember longing for days like this before we made the transition from store owners to the lifestyle blog. And yesterday my heart could not stop smiling thinking this is one of the many reasons I made that big decision…To spend more time with my babies! It is hard to actually realize these precious moments in life because we all live at such a fast pace. But I was grateful that yesterday I actually had a minute to stop and realize that, this was a sweet moment I was getting to receive because of those hard decisions months ago!
Gratefulness is just a word that is filling my mind and heart lately. I want to be a person who is always looking for the good in each day and striving to be grateful for what I have instead of longing for what I do not.
The weather getting cooler is bringing on all the feels! It is so exciting to think that fall is officially here and we are moving towards Thanksgiving and Christmas…Yay! I had literally been saving this sweater for the first day it was cool enough to bust it out. It is the perfect weight and so comfortable. I was thrilled to find it during the NSale but it is still available here! Also, it is hard to find a heel that stays comfortable all day while chasing your babies…These are perfect for long stretches of time standing or running around!
